In der Presse wird er als »La Bomba« (neo2/madrid) oder »hyperaktive Enfant Terrible« (arte) beschrieben. Namosh setzt bei seinen Liveperformances jede Menge Energie frei. Den Körper setzt der Musiker bei seinen Konzerten als Medium ein und formt ihn wie ein Material. Er transformiert Klänge in Bewegungen oder, visa versa, formt er Klänge, die auf Bewegungen basieren. Der Rhythmus dabei ist funky, der Beat electronic. Ab und an sind die Stücke wiederum melodisch und breitflächig. Seit 2001 tritt Namosh in variierten Konstellationen in unterschiedlichsten Veranstaltungsorten auf, mit Le Tigre in der Volksbühne, auf Tour mit der Performerin und Musikerin Angie Reed, in Kollaboration mit dem Komponisten Peter Thomas und meistens hauptsächlich alleine.
Namosh’s Live Dynamik wurde 2004 erstmals in ein Solo-Album transformiert. Die erste EP hiess Namosh und wurde von Pale Music nur auf Vinyl herausgebracht. Der Erfolg der EP ermöglichte Namosh’s erste solo Tournee. Das erste reguläre Album Moccatongue erschien 2006 (Bungalow Records). Moccatongue besteht aus kontrastierenden, kaffeinisierten Stimmungen und Emotionen: mal leichtgängig und flexibel, dann wieder sperrig und gesättigt. Einige Songs der ersten EP wurden frisch aufgenommen und neu interpretiert. Die elektrische Spannung wird visuell in physischer Bildhaftigkeit übertragen. Cold Cream, das Video, wirkt kühl sowohl als heiss. Namosh generiert gleichermaßen Anziehung und Abstoßung, Nähe und Distanz. Bei seinen Konzerten trifft er auf Hotspots zwischen Eis und Feuer – zwischen Kälte und Hitze.
Namosh Live is indeed a discharge of high energy. During his concerts this singing & performing and occasionally stand-drum-set playing musician uses his body and vocals as a medium and sculpts it like a material. Namosh transforms sounds into movements or, visa versa, forms sounds based on movements. The rhythm is grounded, his beat mainly electronicly produced. Occasionally his songs sound melodic and smooth. Since 2001 Namosh performs in various constellations in different venues: supporting Le Tigre in Volksbühne/Berlin, on tour with the performer and musician Angie Reed, in collaboration with the composer Peter Thomas.
Yet primarily, Namosh plays solo.
In 2004 Namosh‘ live dynamic was turned into a solo-album. The E-LP carried the title Namosh and was released solely on vinyl by Pale Music. The EP became a hit on the dance floor and opened up a club- tour from siberia to london, though spain. HIs first regular album Moccatongue appeared in 2006 (Bungalow Records). Moccatongue consists of contrasting, caffeinated moods and emotions: light and flexible songs are followed up by unwieldy and saturated ones. The electric tension is transformed in the physique pictorial. The effect of Cold Cream, the video, is both hot and frosty. It was too creepy for Music Television while the Maxi-Single appeared in the german dance charts top 20 in 2005. Simultaneously Namosh generates attraction and repulsion, closeness and distance. In his concerts he hits the hotspots between ice and fire – between coolness and heat.
