Die Dreamatory Live Performances finden im Rahmen der Ausstellung The Name of Shades of Paranoia, Called Different Forms of Silence von Viron Erol Vert statt, kuratiert von Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung und Solvej Helweg Ovesen im Kontext von UP (Unsustainable Privileges)

Die Besucher*innen des Dreamatorys sind herzlich eingeladen zum letzten Event im Rahmen der Soloausstellung von Viron Erol Vert in der Galerie Wedding. Das dritte und letzte Live Konzert von Driftmachine aus der Oneiro Trilogy beginnt in den frühen Abendstunden des 23. März in Form eines entspannten After Work Apéros und wird bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit von einer Live Drawing Session des Künstlers Viron Erol Vert visuell begleitet.
 
Nachdem die beiden ersten Konzerte der Trilogie im Kontext der Ausstellung jeweils im Zeichen des Schlafgottes »Morpheus«, der menschliche Traumbilder repräsentiert, und dessen Bruders »Phobetor« aus den Traumgefilden wilder Tiere oder Monster standen, nimmt das kommende Live Set »Phantasos« nun Bezug auf den Dritten im Bunde, den Gott der surrealen Träume und der Naturelemente.

In diesem letzten Konzert aus ihrer Oneiro Trilogie in der Galerie Wedding verweben Driftmachine die einzelnen, sich auf die drei Schlafgötter aus Ovids Metamorphosen beziehenden Klangstücke zu einem großen, vibrierenden Werk mit quasi vollständiger Schlafgötter-Besetzung.

Bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit um ca. 19 Uhr wird Viron Erol Vert als eine dritte Position zur Dualität der zwei Pole von Unterbewusstsein und Bewusstsein auf die sphärische, Traum-anregende Soundcollage des Berliner Producer Duos mit seinen sich immer weiter entfaltenden Zeichnungen reagieren.
 
Während der Sound den Raum der Dreamatory-Schlafsaal-Installation mit ihren zwölf unterschiedlichen Betten und der angeschlossenen Traumbibliothek füllt, wird der Künstler in seiner Live Performance in variierendem Duktus Linien zeichnen, die gleich einem expandierenden Universum / Planetensystem auf die zentralen Galeriewände projiziert werden.
 
Eine atmosphärische, transzendente Zeichenperformance wie die in der GW bevorstehende hatte Viron Erol Vert bereits 2014 anlässlich des 10. Jubiläums des Berghain Clubs zur Musik von Luke Slaters Planetary Assault Systems aufgeführt.

At dusk of March 23 you are cordially invited to the last event of Viron Erol Vert’s soloshow at Galerie Wedding, which comes in the shape of a relaxing after work apéro. Driftmachine’s last live concert of the Oneiro Trilogy — No.3 »Phantasos« — will be accompanied by a Live Drawing Performance by Viron Erol Vert. The live set will last for three to four hours. Our guests are welcome to lounge in the beds of the Dreamatory installation and take their time to delve into the combined sound pieces inspired by the three dream gods from Ovid’s Metamorphoses, »Morpheus«, »Phobetor« and »Phantasos«.

Meanwhile the dream-inducing Live Drawing Performance by Viron Erol Vert will create the projection of an expanding universe / planetary system on the gallery’s central walls, providing the third position to the polarity of consciousness and subconsciousness.

An atmospheric and transcendent Live Drawing Performance like the one coming up at GW Viron Erol Vert has done once before in 2014 on occasion of the 10 Years Anniversary of the Berghain club, accompanying the sound of infamous Luke Slater’s Planetary Assault Systems.
