Epilog

Bis zum 28.11. war in der Fensterfassade der Galerie Wedding der Epilog unserer SoS (Soft Solidarity) Assembly zu sehen. Die Banner haben uns während des Livestreaming der SoS (Soft Solidarity) Assembly begleitet.
Die künstlerische Intervention von Rüzgâr Buşki, kuratiert von Övül Ö. Durmuşoğlu, war in unserem SoS (Soft Solidarity) Studio in der Betonhalle, silent green zu sehen.

Rüzgâr Buşki ist Künstler, Regisseur und Produzent aus Istanbul mit Sitz in Berlin. Die künstlerische Praxis umfasst Druckgrafik, Performance, Video und Film. Studium des Journalismus an der Universität Istanbul und Neue Medien an der Universität der Künste, Berlin in der Klasse von Prof. Dr. Hito Steyerl. Buşki war im Vorstand des GLADT e.V. – Gays and Lesbiens aus der Türkei von 2013 bis 2015. Außerdem Gründungsmitglied von Kanka Productions, einem transfeministischen Produktionskollektiv, das sich für Empowerment von Frauen und trans-Personen im Feld der visuellen und darstellenden Künste einsetzt.

Epilogue

The epilogue of SoS (Soft Solidarity) Assembly was installed in our gallery windows until 28th November. Three banners created by artist Rüzgâr Buşki were our companions while streaming SoS (Soft Solidarity) Assembly.
The artistic intervention, curated by Övül Ö. Durmuşoğlu, was on view in our SoS (Soft Solidarity) studio at Betonhalle, silent green.

Rüzgâr Buşki is an artist, director and producer from Istanbul based in Berlin. Their artistic practice varies within printmaking, performance, video and film. They studied Journalism in Istanbul University and New Media in Berlin University of Arts in the class of Prof. Dr. Hito Steyerl. They were a board member of GLADT e.V – Gays und Lesbiens aus der Türkei between 2013 and 2015. They are one of the founders of Kanka Productions, a trans-feminist production collective for empowerment of women and trans on fields of visual and performing arts.
