Wir freuen uns sehr die Kooperation zwischen dem Goethe Institut Nigeria, Galerie Wedding, SAVVY Contemporary Art Space und dem ZK/U bekanntzugeben. In diesem Zusammenhang ermöglicht das Goethe-Institut nigerianischen Künstlern und Forschern, die sich mit inter-disziplinärer Theorie und Praxis zum Thema „Stadt“ auseinandersetzen, einen drei-monatigen Aufenthalt in der Künstlerresidenz des ZK/U. Durch die Zusammenarbeit mit der städtischen Galerie Wedding und dem Kulturamt Mitte bietet sich den Residenten die Gelegenheit künstlerische und kuratorische Betreuung zu erhalten.
Die Auswahlkriterien gründen sich auf dem Konzept des ZK/U ((http://www.zku-berlin.org/
Bewerbungsschluss ist am 30. April 2016. Der Aufenthalt in der Residenz wird vom 1. August bis zum 31. Oktober stattfinden.

We are pleased to announce the cooperation between the Goethe-Institut Nigeria, Galerie Wedding, SAVVY Contemporary Art Space and ZK/U.
In this context Goethe-Institut Nigeria offers a three months residency for Nigerian artists and practitioners interested in cross-disciplinary theory and practice dealing with ‘the city’.
The residency also offers the possibility of curatorial and artistic mentoring through the partnership with the cultural office of Wedding/Berlin and its communal gallery.
The selection criteria will be based upon the founding concept of ZK/U (http://www.zku-berlin.org/
The deadline for the application is the 30st of April 2016. The residency at ZK/U will take place from August 1st until October 31st, 2016.
